Wood Pellet
Wood Pellet
The basic raw material for pellet production is
wood waste from sawmills, wood processing plants and
forest wood waste (sawdust, wood chips, shavings). There are two types of pellets on the European market. The first
type, often called “PREMIUM” or “GOLD”, is used
for heating houses. due to its light color
, also called “white”. The second type is produced
for large industrial boilers.
The first type of pellet has a high calorific value,
it is made of better raw materials without
chemical additives.
The second type of pellet, usually of a larger diameter than the first. Due to its the presence of a large amount of bark in it has a dark color, the calorific value of such pellets is lower and it is cheaper.
